Project Management System for Construction Companies

Tender, aanwijzing, BoQ, S-curve, SPK and BAST, procurement, and subcontractors in one system, built around how contractors run projects.

What is Catur Konstruksi

One system for a contractor's tenders, projects, and procurement.

A Project Management System for construction companies, from the aanwijzing to worker wages.

Case Study

From WhatsApp Chats and Spreadsheets to One Project System

At a contractor, a single material request used to move from WhatsApp chat to a spreadsheet, then to a paper form, retyped at every step. Catur Konstruksi puts tenders, project progress, procurement, labor, and suppliers in one system, from tender to handover.

Project Flow

Follows the project flow you already know.

The system is organised in the order a contractor works, using the same terms your team uses on site.

  1. Aanwijzing

Record the aanwijzing outcome and tender evaluation as the basis for a bid or no-bid decision.

    Tender Management
  2. Bid: BoQ and RAB

Draft the BoQ and RAB using material prices from earlier purchases as reference.

Tender and Item & Price History
  3. Execution and S-curve

Follow progress per BoQ item and compare plan with actual on the S-curve.

    Project Management
  4. Procurement: SPP, PO, delivery note

Trace one material request from SPP to PO to delivery note, with a validated supplier.

    Procurement and Supplier
  5. Labor and opname

Worker wage recap, subcontractor payments, and project petty cash tied to the work that was measured.

    Workforce & Operational Cost
Terms

Construction terms used in the system.

Aanwijzing
The briefing where the project owner or tender committee explains the work to bidders before bids are submitted. Bidders ask about tender documents and site conditions.
BoQ (Bill of Quantities)
The list of work items with their quantities and units. It is the basis for the bid price and for weighting work progress.
RAB (Rencana Anggaran Biaya)
The project cost estimate: the quantity of each work item multiplied by its unit price. It becomes the reference budget while the project runs.
Kurva S
A chart of cumulative project progress over time, comparing plan with actual. Its shape resembles the letter S.
SPP (Surat Permintaan Pembelian)
The document a site or project uses to request materials from procurement.
PO (Purchase Order)
The formal purchase order sent to a supplier, listing the goods, quantities, and agreed prices.
Surat Jalan
The delivery note that travels with materials to the site, used as proof the goods were received.
Opname
The check and measurement of completed work quantities on site, usually the basis for a progress payment.
Subkontraktor
A party that carries out part of the project work on behalf of the main contractor.
SPK (Surat Perintah Kerja)
The document from the project owner that instructs the contractor to start work. In the system, an SPK moves the project to Running.
BAST (Berita Acara Serah Terima)
The handover record for completed work. BAST 1 marks completion and the start of the maintenance period, BAST 2 closes it.
RAP (Rencana Anggaran Pelaksanaan)
The contractor’s internal budget for carrying out the project, separate from the contract price in the BoQ. Used as the cost usage limit.
Gantt
A bar chart showing the start and end of each work item over time.
Praproyek
A prospective project being pursued as a tender, before it is won and becomes a project.
Win rate
The share of tenders won out of all the tenders entered.
